When Nicki minaj's "only" lyric video dropped on the web last week, fans quickly gave thier negative expression to the concept behind the video whichportrayed Nazism.
nicki minaj finally reached out and appologized for thevideo via Twitter. She says the visuals were influenced by the Cartoon Network show "Metalocalypse", as well as Frank Miller's Sin City. She goes on to mention that two of the main people responsible for the clip were in fact Jewish.
While nicki claimed that the idea was not her own, she took full responsibility, and apologized to anyone that was offended by the video. "I'd never condone Nazism in my art".
The artist who made the lyric video for “only” was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called "Metalocalypse" & Sin City.

Both the producer, & person in charge of over seeing the lyric video(one of my best friends & videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish

I didn't come up w/the concept, but I'm very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I'd never condone Nazism in my art.
